Sam Shepard’s buried child launches mobile lottery

The New Group announced a mobile lottery for Sam Shepard’s Pulitzer Prize-winning game Buried child, February 2 to March 27 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

The lottery will offer tickets of $ 25 through the TodayTix app for preview performances and $ 30 for performances after opening night on February 17th. The entry period begins each day at 12:01 am and continues until the winners are notified by push notification 3-4 hours before the selected run begins. Tickets will be available for pickup on call one hour before the curtain. Seat locations are subject to availability.

Directed by Scott Elliott, the production will star Oscar nominee Ed Harris and Tony (Pollock) as Dodge, Golden Globe Award winner and wife of Harris, Amy Madigan (Field of dreams) like Halie, Rich Sommer (Mad Men) and Paul Sparks (Card castle) like their sons Bradley and Tilden, respectively, Nat Wolff (Paper cities) like their grandson Vince, Taissa Farmiga (american horror story) as girlfriend of Vince Shelly, and Larry Pine (Casa Valentina) like Father Dewis.

Buried child returns to the city 20 years after his last major New York production. The plot is described as follows: “Dodge and Halie barely cling to their farmland and sanity while looking after their two stray sons Tilden and Bradley. When their grandson Vince arrives with his baby friend Shelly, no one seems to recognize it, and confusion abounds. As Vince tries to make sense of the chaos, the rest of the family dances around a deep and dark secret. This insanely poetic and extremely funny version of the family drama American happily tears apart the threadbare and threadbare visions of our families and homes. “
