Judge sends Lottery.com fraud lawsuit to arbitration

By Michelle Casady (June 1, 2022, 5:09 PM EDT) – A Texas federal judge has sent the lawsuit of a Tel Aviv-based investor to arbitration alleging that gambling site Lottery.com tricked her into converting her $3 million investment in digital token security that only paid $802 in royalties.

U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel, in an order issued Tuesday, wrote that after Varda Burstein filed an objection to U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan Hightower’s recommendation that the lawsuit be adjudicated, he considered the entire file.
