Michigan man wins 82 lakh rupees in lottery he thought he was tricked

A man from Michigan, USA initially ignored a mail confirming he had won a lottery prize worth $100,000 (about Rs 82 lakh) by playing the $300,000,000 game Michigan Lottery Diamond Riches Second Chance. He first thought that someone of his college friends was playing a prank on him, but later it was confirmed.

According Michigan Lottery Loginthe winning player, who wished to remain anonymous, won $100,000 in a random lottery on September 28. He entered the draw by scanning non-winning $300,000,000 Diamond Riches tickets on the Michigan Lottery app.

The 59-year-old winner told Michigan Lottery officials, “I received an email saying I had won $100,000 in a Second Chance Lottery game. I thought it was from some college buddies playing a trick on me Even after talking to someone about the lottery I was skeptical about everything Now sitting here holding a check I know this is very real !”

The winner recently visited the Lottery headquarters to accept the huge prize. He intends to keep his winnings, Michigan Lottery said.

“I’ve been a lottery player for a long time and I’ve won a little here and there, but you never think you’ll be the one to win the big one,” the man said. “I dreamed of what it would look like, but I never imagined it would be a reality,” he added.

According to Michigan Lottery, each non-winning $300,000,000 Diamond Riches ticket qualifies for a second opportunity to win a reward between $500 and $100,000. Prior to scanning their non-winning tickets on the Michigan Lottery mobile app ticket scanner by November 13, 2022, players may enter.
